Inspired by one of the most powerful martial images of ancient Persia, the Shahriar Rash Guard draws from the Achaemenid relief commonly known as the Battle of Shahriar and Lion.
Carved into the palaces of Persepolis, the ancient scene depicts the royal hero confronting a supernatural beast. Rather than simply representing a hunt, the imagery has been interpreted symbolically as the struggle of order against chaos, good against evil, and disciplined authority against destructive forces. The ruler remains composed as he overcomes the beast—a visual expression of controlled strength rather than uncontrolled violence.

The back features our interpretation of the iconic Shahriar combat scene, framed by Achaemenid-inspired artwork and Immortal Guard detailing. The black-on-black geometric patterning across the sleeves and side panels keeps the historical influence subtle, while gold Persian motifs create contrast against the otherwise understated design.
